国際紛争解決チームのパートナーで、アジア、特に日本のクライアントに対して、ドイツやヨーロッパの法律問題についてアドバイスをしており、その内容は、国際紛争・契約交渉から内部調査・コンプライアンスまで、幅広い業種や問題に亘ります。また、ドイツおよびその他ヨーロッパ諸国のクライアントのアジアでの事業活動についても、法的助言を提供してきました。特に豊富な経験を有する分野として、ライフサイエンス、自動車、エネルギー業界における、ポストM&Aや事業、製造、建設、販売から派生する事項に関連する法的手続が挙げられます。また、政府に関わる案件にも従事しており、海外投資家や主権国家に対し、対外直接投資やこれに関連する交渉、及び国際公法や投資家対国家紛争に関する問題についても助言を行っています。これまで45件を超える国際仲裁事件において、代理人あるいは仲裁人として関与しており、取り扱った仲裁規則は、DIS、ICC、Swiss Chambers、NAI、ICDR、KCAB、JCAA、SIAC、ICSIDのような仲裁機関の規則やUNCITRAL仲裁規則など、多岐に亘っています。

ドイツ大手法律事務所に約10年、ニューヨークの大手米国法律事務所に1年勤務した経験があり、西村あさひ法律事務所の東京オフィスに2年間の出向経験があります。2年間の出向を通じて、日本やその周辺のアジア法域における仲裁に関する広い知見も得ています。
